Who it’s for

Four kinds of households we help most

Americans abroad

Posted overseas, retired abroad or working remotely — and missing the news and shows you grew up with.

Bilingual families

One app with English-language channels alongside channels in your family’s other language.

International students

A 3- or 6-month plan lines up neatly with a semester, and works on a laptop or a dorm-room TV stick.

Long-stay travelers

Bring a streaming stick, plug it into the rental’s TV and keep your evenings in English.

Time zones

When does 8 p.m. Eastern happen where you are?

Live channels play in their own time zone. Use this to plan big live events — and check whether your player app offers replay on the channels you watch.

8 p.m. Eastern Time in other cities
Where you are 8 p.m. Eastern is… Tip
London, Lisbon 1 a.m. next day Use replay for evening shows
Madrid, Paris, Berlin 2 a.m. next day Morning catch-up works best
Dubai 5 a.m. next day Breakfast TV, US-style
Manila, Singapore 9 a.m. next day Watch live with your coffee
Mexico City 7 p.m. same day Almost no adjustment needed

Watching from abroad

A practical setup that works in most countries

  1. Check the local rules first. Channel availability and the rules around watching them vary by country. Look up what applies where you live, and ask us about any specific channel before you buy.
  2. Test the connection you’ll really use. Apartment and rental broadband varies hugely. Aim for a steady 15 Mbps or more for HD — a free trial shows you quickly.
  3. Pack a stick, not a box. A Fire TV Stick or Google TV device plus a small Ethernet adapter fits in a pocket and works with almost any TV that has HDMI.
  4. Avoid sign-in Wi-Fi. Hotel networks with a sign-in page often confuse TV apps. A rental’s own router or a wired connection is far more reliable.

Questions

English IPTV questions

Didn’t find your answer?

Ask us directly — you’ll get a straight answer before you spend anything.

What does “English IPTV” mean?

It’s IPTV with English-language channels and on-demand content — news, entertainment, sports and kids’ programming in English — streamed over the internet to your TV, phone or computer.

Can I watch English-language TV if I live outside the US?

The service streams over the internet, so it works wherever you have a reliable connection. Channel availability and the rules around watching them vary by country, so check what applies where you live and ask us about any specific channel first.

How do time zones work for live channels?

Live channels play in their own time zone. Many player apps offer replay on supported channels, which helps when a show airs in the middle of your night.

Can I mix English and other languages?

Yes. English-language channels sit alongside international channels in the same app, so everyone in a bilingual household can find something to watch.

What do I need to watch abroad?

A steady connection of 15 Mbps or more for HD, a supported device such as a Fire TV Stick, and your login details. A travel-friendly stick with an Ethernet adapter is the most reliable setup in rentals.
