Strong IPTV installation guide for every device

Choose your device below and follow the steps in order. Most installs take 10–15 minutes on a TV and about 5 on a phone. Keep the login details from your welcome message handy.

Before you start

  • Your login details from our welcome message (or your trial login)
  • Your device updated to its latest software
  • A steady connection — Ethernet if the device has a port or adapter
  • Your remote, or better, the device’s remote app on your phone for typing

Step-by-step installation

Menu names can differ slightly between models and software versions. If a screen doesn’t match, send us a photo and we’ll point you to the right option.

Fire TV Stick

Step by step
  1. From the Home screen, open Find → Search and type the player name we recommended.
  2. If it’s listed, select Get and skip to step 5.
  3. If it isn’t, install the free Downloader app, then go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps and turn it on for Downloader. (No Developer options? Open Settings → My Fire TV → About and select the device name seven times.)
  4. Open Downloader, enter the address we sent you and install the player.
  5. Open the player, choose the login type that matches your details and sign in.
  6. Wait for channels and the guide to load, then add favorites for quick access.

Android & Google TV

Step by step
  1. Open the Google Play Store on your TV or box (or install from play.google.com on your phone and send it to the TV).
  2. Search for the player we recommended and select Install.
  3. Open the player and choose your login type: username/password/server or playlist link.
  4. Enter your details exactly as sent and sign in.
  5. If video stutters, open the player’s settings and switch the decoder between hardware and software.

Samsung & LG

Step by step
  1. Update the TV: Settings → Support → Software Update (Samsung) or Settings → General → About This TV (LG).
  2. Open the TV’s app store and search for the player we recommended for your model.
  3. Install and open it. If it shows a MAC address and device key, send them to us and we’ll activate the app.
  4. Otherwise, enter your login details in the app and sign in.
  5. Some TV players charge a one-time activation fee to the app developer; we’ll tell you beforehand if yours does.

Apple TV, iPhone & iPad

Step by step
  1. Open the App Store and search for the player we recommended.
  2. Install it, open it and choose your login type.
  3. Enter your details. On Apple TV, use the keyboard that pops up on your iPhone to type faster.
  4. On Apple TV 4K, go to Settings → Video and Audio → Match Content and turn on Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate.

Windows & Mac

Step by step
  1. Install the desktop player we recommended for your computer.
  2. Open it and add a new playlist or account.
  3. Paste your playlist link, or enter your username, password and server address.
  4. Use a wired connection for long viewing — laptops on battery saver may throttle video.

Quick fixes for installation hiccups

What you see Quick fix
The app isn’t in my store Ask us for an alternative player that is — every platform has at least one good option.
“Install unknown apps” keeps switching off Fire OS updates can reset it. Turn it back on for Downloader only, install, then switch it off again.
Login rejected Check for a trailing space in the server address and that capitals match. See activation help.
Channels load but no guide Refresh the EPG in the player’s settings and check the device’s time zone.
Playback stutters Switch the decoder setting, then test on Ethernet. See troubleshooting.

How long does installation take?

Usually 10–15 minutes on a TV or streaming stick and about 5 minutes on a phone. The slowest step is normally typing your login details with a remote.

Which player app should I use?

It depends on your device and login type. Tell us your device and we’ll recommend an app that works well with Strong IPTV, then walk you through installing it.

What is the Downloader app, and is it safe?

Downloader is a free app in the Amazon Appstore that downloads other apps from a web address. It’s safe as long as you only enter addresses you trust, such as one we send you. You can switch “install unknown apps” off again afterwards.

I entered my login details but nothing loads. What now?

Check for extra spaces — especially at the end of the server address — and make sure capital letters match exactly. Then restart the app. If it still won’t load, send us a photo of the screen.

Can you set it up for me?

We don’t take remote control of your device, but we guide you step by step on WhatsApp or by email, working from photos or screenshots of your screen.
